MD-4 Youth Leadership Institute

The annual MD4 Youth Leadership Institute was held again this spring for the fourth year at Lions Camps at Teresita Pines. This year 158 Leos, Advisors, Staff and Leadership Class Presenters attended and is sponsored by the MD4 Youth Outreach Committee and the MD4 Global Leadership Team.

The Camp is a great learning experience for the Leos of California as they participate in training classes such as “Public Speaking”, “Focus On Fun”, “Project Planning” and “Conflict Resolution”. Classes are interspersed with activities that are designed to give the youth experience in working together with their peer groups while having lots of fun.

They all enjoyed the beautiful facilities at Teresita Pines and the great food served by a professional staff in the fresh Mountain air. We look forward to our next stay.

I went on to work with Samuel Goldwyn Films to head up their social media marketing department building their brand strategy online and beyond. As a freelance consultant I have worked with a wide range of clients creating cutting edge marketing content for eBay, Hewlett-Packard, Black Enterprise, UCLA, TED, American Institute of Architects, UCI Medical Center, KTGY Architecture, and United Design Associates.
