Lions Work Weekend

JOIN US FOR A WEEKEND OF WORK AND FUN - May 16-18, 2025

You’re Invited!

We would like to invite you to our Lions Work Weekend where friends of Teresita Pines come together to fix-up, spruce-up and beautify the camp facilities that serve many children and families each year.

This weekend is open to families, volunteers and community members looking to escape the city and spend a weekend (or a day) in the beautiful mountains of the Angeles National Forest to paint, rake, repair, build and improve the beauty and safety of our grounds and facilities. No experience needed, Though we may have some special projects for participants with the following skills:

* Electrician
* Plumbing
* Carpentry

Currently, registrations are fully open, and first come / first serve with a maximum limit. We’ll update this if it becomes a wait list situation. We expect a large number of people, so if you plan to spend a night or two, your flexibility in sharing a cabin would be great.

Friday, May 16th: Arrive in the evening, if you’d like (we’ll have snacks out)

Saturday, May 17th:

8:00am Breakfast Served
8:30am Projects Orientation and signups
9am Projects
12:30pm Lunch Served
1pm Projects continued
5:30pm Dinner Served
6pm or so (optional campfire with smores, games in dining hall, hang in town, or other)
